While most feedback is positive, some patrons have noted minor inconveniences such as limited baby changing facilities. Overall, The Coffee Tree is regarded as a reliable and charming spot for both locals and travelers seeking quality coffee, wholesome meals, and a warm, inviting environment.
I only got a ham and cheese toasty and a cheese scone to take away this time but I have had English breakfasts in the past and all the food has been delicious! The staff are always friendly and have a smile on their face! It has a lovely old fashioned cafe feel about it and the food is reasonably priced! All in all very nice and I would definitely recommend you give this place a go!
This place was wonderful. I am from Seattle and always search out a coffee shop to start my day. This was on our way to Scotland, so we stopped by for a cup. Really good cup, and if I didn't just eat breakfast. I would've gotten a pastry. Very yummy looking. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
On our way to the ferry in Newcastle we stopped at this incredible coffee shop. The soup of the day (tomato) was delicious, while my wife enjoyed her tosti. What helps off course is the friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Good coffee and choice of edibles. Friendly helpful staff. Well spaced seating. Again good coffee and fresh scone. Thank you Once more good service. Excellent sandwich served with fresh salad. Tomato soup much better than Heinz. Delicious, served with fresh brown bread. Lovely coffee served with lemon cake. Excellent carrot, sweet potato soup. A little expensive at £5.959 Again good coffee. Very welcoming staff.9 very tasty sandwich served by pleasant waitress. Delicious soup. Thank you. Excellent coffee and sandwich, served by pleasant staff. Good coffee although a little cool.
Very nice little coffee shop with a wide range of hot and cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches and hot dishes. Soup was all gone today which is a good sign and the place was quite busy with table service. High chairs available, takes American Express. Only criticism was that the baby changing is a mat (we have our own) and no tray that is fixed to the wall, so ended up changing on the floor! Reasonable coffee.
Fantastic little cafe - popped in for a breakfast sandwich. Very busy, even early in the day, but they offered for me to take a seat outside, and they'd bring my food out to me. Lovely atmosphere and great for any travellers, walkers, and/or bikers wanting a pit stop
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. Lovely historical building in a picturesque village. Well worth a trip out.
Lovely friendly staff providing service with warming, welcoming smiles A really cosy place and good food. I enjoyed my sandwich and salad!
